The “archer” is a survivor of the gender culture wars.  She has been whittled in the atmosphere of second-class citizenship that she hopes her daughters and granddaughters are less encumbered by.   She turns her attention to targets that she can explore, and communicates with a fine-tuned brush knowing that art can stir the imagination, ignite the spirit, and be transformative.  She is a beacon.
